My Favourite Looks From The 2016 Spring Racing Season
While most are looking towards the track for the action during the Spring Racing carnival, I’ve had my eyes on what my favourite looks of the other side of the fence. These girls were my picks for best dressed this racing season!
JENNIFER HAWKINS
I love Jennifer Hawkins’ chameleon like style, and her looks at this years spring carnival were some of my favourite looks trackside!
From her sleek Toni Maticevski cocktail dress for Derby Day, her stand out Misha Collection jumpsuit for the cup (with a gorgeous matching hat!) to her soft feminine Talulah dress for Oaks Day, its no wonder why she’s considered Queen of the Carnival!
NADIA BARTEL
Nadia is one of my favourite fashion stars to follow, and I loved how she played with different silhouettes this Spring Racing Carnival!
Her caped Thurley look for Derby day was one of my favourite looks all week, and her gorgeous Alex Perry dress complete with exaggerated sleeves was a definite winner! I also loved her Oaks Day choice, wearing a stunning Misha Collection jumpsuit.
JESSICA GOMES
Model Jess Gomes is a classic beauty, and her wardrobe this Spring Racing season stuck to a classic colour palette – monochrome!
I loved her night and day looks, black Carla Zampatti for Derby and crisp white Ellery for Cup Day – a winner in my books!
LAUREN PHILLIPS
Lauren is always one of the most stylish ladies in the Birdcage, and I loved her colourful looks this year!
From her floral embellished lemon look for Cup Day, to her colour blocked Yeojin Bae dress for Oaks, she never disappoints in the style stakes (pun intended!).
JODI GORDON
Trust a someone as gorgeous as Jodi to make already glam pieces even better! I loved Jodi’s playful yet stylish take on the dress code this year!
I loved her turban and all white look for Derby Day, and her salmon bell sleeves cocktail dress for Cup, but my favourite looks of hers was the white, tiered mini for Oaks. 10/10!
